Fodor's Review:
Hidden away halfway up Haleakala, this charming 100-year-old perch is an ideal getaway. With a view of most of the Valley Isle, this retreat is remote, serene, and deliciously temperate -- you'll want to snuggle up, rather than blast the air-conditioning. Up to six people can be accommodated in this inventively designed house, but four is more comfortable, and two is downright romantic. Snipping a few fresh herbs from the garden will make cooking while on vacation all the more fun.
