One of the best ways to tap into Lanai's Pacific Island pace is to take the time not just to watch the sunset but also to watch the moon rise. The best sunset-viewing spots are the veranda at the Lodge at Koele, the grassy field past the Lodge's tennis courts, Hulopoe Beach, and the Challenge at Manele clubhouse. For full moons, nothing beats the trail that leads to Puu Pehe or the many stopping places along Keomoko Road.
