Housed within the Waimea Plantation Cottages, this brewpub-restaurant is spacious, with hardwood floors and open-air decks. Dine indoors amid rattan furnishings or at a bar decorated with petroglyphs and colored with Kauai red dirt. Kalua pork enchiladas, hamburgers, beef short ribs, and fresh fish are highlights. Entrées come in two sizes (small and big!), although all portions are hearty and the appetizers are huge. It's a good place to stop while traveling to or from Waimea Canyon, and the microbrews on top are worth a try.

I can't convey just how bad the food was, and the wait staff's attitude didn't help. They were too busy flirting to be of any help. The beer was great, so if all you want is a beer this is the place for you, but avoid the food.

Eating outside on their patio is a real kick. There are chickens walking around, & sometimes a stray cat. the food is good & the grounds are great. We always stop for fish & chips, beer & onion rings. Everything we have ordered as always been good.
