Fodor's Review:
This B&B in the windward bedroom community of Kailua features a one-bedroom upstairs studio with decor that mimics those found in traditional Japanese inns, with shoji screen doors and black-tile counters. Ingrid is one of the island's most popular hosts, and she has created a little Zen of tranquillity in this unit that also features a kitchenette, deep soaking tub, and has its own private entrance. Guests have access to the pool, and Kailua Beach is less than 1 mi away. Three- to four-month advance reservations are advised.
