Fodor's Review:
Punawai provides all the basics for those on a budget. This family-operated apartment hotel is across busy Saratoga Road from Fort DeRussy Beach. Each unit comes with a full kitchen and a lanai. Studios have bathrooms with showers only. One-bedroom units have either two twins or a king-size bed, while one-bedroom deluxe units have one queen, one twin and a sofa bed. Furnishings are simple, and decor is spartan. You can opt for telephone service or forgo the distraction.
