$$$-$$$$, Waikiki
Fodor's Review:
This slim high-rise fronts Ala Wai Yacht Harbor at the 'ewa edge of Waikiki, close to Honolulu's downtown business districts, the convention center, and Ala Moana's outdoor mall. There's no beach here, but Ala Moana Beach Park is a 10-minute stroll away along the Harbor, and the hotel also offers complimentary shuttle service around Waikiki and its surrounding beaches. It's the only resort in Waikiki with a golf course -- the 27-hole Arnold Palmer-designed golf course is in 'Ewa Beach, about a 45-minute ride from the hotel. The sleek, modern Prince looks to Asia both in its high-style decor and such pampering touches as the traditional oshiburi (chilled hand towel) for refreshment upon check-in. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the harbor sunsets make up for the lack of lanai.
