Fodor's Review:
Outrigger's star jewel sits on one of the finest strands of Waikiki beach, where the hotel plays host to canoe regattas, the World Ocean Games lifeguard competition, and the Honolulu Marathon. The 16-story resort's guest rooms are a tribute to plantation-style living with rich darkwood furnishings, Hawaiian art, and lanai that offer either ocean or Waikiki skyline views. The popular Duke's Canoe Club has beachfront concerts under the stars. At this writing, the resort's Plantation Spa is slated to open in spring 2006.
