Shoppers might wear out their Manolos here; the hotel is connected to O'ahu's biggest mall, the Ala Moana Shopping Center, by a pedestrian ramp, and it's a four-block stroll away from the Victoria Ward Centers. Business travelers are walking one block in the opposite direction to the Hawai'i Convention Center. Swimmers, surfers, and beachgoers make the two-minute walk to Ala Moana Beach Park across the street. Studio accommodations have cherrywood furnishings, kitchenettes, flat-screen wall-mounted TVs, and lanai with glass railings and outdoor seating. One- and two-bedroom suites are also available. Most units in this 36-story high-rise have a view of Ala Moana Beach, the ocean, or the mountains.

Hotel renovated, better than 3 stars

The multi-million dollar renovations are almost done at this hotel. Rooms are small, but newly renovated with contemporary decor. Pool is small but attractive. Great views of Waikiki and the City. Rooms with a lanai (balcony)Location can't be beat: attached to the Ala Moana Shopping Center (Macy's, Sears, food court, a supermarket, Longs Drugs store) convenient to Waikiki, and across the street from Ala Moana Beach park. Prices still low due to the renovations, but I don't think will stay that way. Great value.Great Hotel

Stayed at one of the new Condo-Hotel rooms. It was wonderfully appointed with fridge and microwave. Being next door to the Ala Moana Shopping Center gave us things to do at night. And the Ala Moana Beach Park across the street ... what a wonderful place to be at sunset. We will definitely stay there when we return to Hawaii.
