Neighborhoods / Streets, Honolulu
Fodor's Review:
This is one of the few real pedestrian neighborhoods on Oahu, with several blocks of intriguing stores and restaurants plus the quirky Movie Museum (a 17-seat theater equipped with easy chairs and playing only vintage and art films). A couple of shops offer original, hand-made fashion designs: Double Paws Wear and Montsuki. Harry's Music is an exceptional source of vintage Hawaiian recordings, sheet music, songs books, and instruments. During the holidays, Kaimuki hosts some great weekend craft fairs. Park on the street or in lots behind Wailae shops between 11th and 12th or 12th and Kokohead.
