¢-$$, Contemporary, Honolulu
Fodor's Review:
Tell us how old you are, and we'll tell you whether you're likely to enjoy town (yes, the "t" is lower case). The motto here is "local first, organic whenever possible, with aloha always." Pretty much everyone agrees that chef-owner Ed Kenney's vaguely Mediterranean menu ranges from just fine (pastas and salads) to just fabulous (buttermilk panna cotta). But if you're over 40, you'll probably be put off by the minimalist decor, the shrieking-level acoustics, and the heedlessly careless waitstaff, who have a tendency to get lost. Young people don't seem bothered by either circumstance. The restaurant serves an inexpensive Continental breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner.
