In Japan, noodles are considered an art form, with connoisseurs going to great lengths to find the best soba noodles and the richest broth. In Honolulu, many visiting and resident Japanese nationals consider Yabusoba the place for hand-made buckwheat noodles and well-made tempura. It's also been featured in Japanese magazines as a great place for celebrity-sighting (you may not recognize Nippon's stars, but watch the folks around you react.)
