Senator Fong's Plantation and Gardens

Gardens / Arboretums, Windward O'ahu

Fodor's Review:

The one-time estate of the late Hiram Fong, the first Asian-American to be elected to Congress, this 700-acre garden is now open for tours. Twice-daily one-mile (10:30 AM and 1 PM), one-hour walking tours explore the park's five lush valleys, each named for a U.S. president that Fong served under during his 17-year tenure in the Senate. The visitor center has a snack bar and gift shop.
