Dragonfly Ranch

Fodor's Review:

A unique hideaway built into the trees of Honaunau (about 10 mi south of Kealakekua Bay), the Dragonfly is not for everyone but for some it is paradise. Dubbed an eco-retreat, this remarkable jungle treehouse brings the outside in, with windows everywhere, lots of open-air sitting areas, and plants and flowers galore. The ranch doubles as a Healing Arts Center: food is prepared from the ranch's organic garden, a labyrinth walk and lomi lomi massages are available, as are dolphin swims (they take you to the bay to "play respectfully with dolphins," and they keep a variety of musical instruments in the front room for anyone to play.
