For legitimate theater, the little town of Waimea is your best bet. The Kahilu Theater hosts regular internationally acclaimed performances, interspersed with a variety of top-notch music acts. In a recent season, Chick Corea, Laurie Anderson, and Pink Martini shared the calendar with modern dance performances, plays, and traditional Hawaiian dance shows.
