$$$-$$$$, Historic District
Fodor's Review:
Eliza Thompson was a socially prominent widow when she built her fine town house around 1847; today the lovely Victorian edifice is one of the oldest B&Bs in Savannah. A peaceful garden courtyard provides a quiet respite. The rooms are luxuriously decorated with marble baths, rare antiques, plush bedding, and other designer accents. A full breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and evening desserts are served in the parlor or on the patio, which has a fine Ivan Bailey sculpture.
