The Children's Museum of Tampa is a great place for families to spend a half day exploring 16 pint-size buildings where youngsters can cash a check, play doctor, buy a house or groceries, pedal a bike or scooter through "town," explore a firehouse, and more. There are Under the Sea and By the Seashore exhibits for preschoolers, free crafts and activity nights the first Friday of the month, and reading, art, and stamp programs on weekends.
