Chef Marty Blitz and his wife, Maryann, have delighted upscale downtown diners for more than two decades with an inventive, ever-changing menu that has made this one of Tampa's most celebrated restaurants. On the top end of the price chart, you might find a nicely outfitted mustard-and-pecan crusted rack of lamb with double onions (rings and bourbon-glazed shallots) and an accompanying dollop of white cheddar grits (pronounced gree-its by true Southerners). Most fowl fans will love the roast duck in a ragout of spinach and cauliflower. Those of you who want to leave the decision to the chef can opt for the rotating "Get Blitzed" tasting menu ($65 with wine, $45 without).

I really like this place, it's something different from the ordinary chain restaurant. Try the chef's menu with the wine pairing, great value for your money.
