Horse lovers won't find a better bunkhouse than this lovely, two-unit (cottage and suite) bed-and-breakfast. The Carriage House Cottage has a bedroom and sitting room with a woody Victorian decor and modern trimmings such as satellite television. The Meadowlook Suite has a balcony, a parlor, a claw-foot tub, and inside or outside stairway access, ruling it out for guests with mobility problems. It, too, has satellite TV. Both units have private baths (the suite's is down a hall) and daily breakfast. For $35–$40 per hour you can rent one of the inn's six steeds for a guided Western trail ride. Kids under 18 are not permitted unless a parent or guardian signs a release or accompanies them. There is no Internet service, but laptop users can take advantage of wireless at a nearby Starbucks. Pros: Intimate, nice escape, horses. Cons: Charm may be lost on non–horse lovers.
