Fodor's Review:

Relaxed elegance is the watchword at this four-story resort on 6 acres with a delightful beach at the south end of town, approximately 5 mi outside the heart of Palm Beach. Fanlight windows, marble, chintz, and palms are serene and inviting. Rooms are spacious, with separate seating areas and private balconies; many have ocean views. On weekends, piano music accompanies cocktails in the Living Room lounge. Jazz groups perform on some weekends in season. The restaurants are worth sampling, and all three have children's menus. Pros: Outstanding restaurants, great location on the ocean. Cons: At least 10 minutes away from nightlife in West Palm or Delray.

Don't Get Fooled by the Name

I have stayed in a half dozen Four Seasons hotels in the last 2 years and this is by far the worst in quality. I arrived at a few minutes before the 4:00 p.m. check in and had to wait nearly 2 hours for my room. The food was positively dreary. Daily maid service was very uneven during my 5 day stay. The hotel has the look and feel of a rennovated Holiday Inn with slightly more charm. It is isolated and hard to get anywhere unless you have a car. A huge disappointment to a Four Seasons fan.
