Pirates Cove Resort and Marina

  • Price range: $$$
  • Location: Stuart

Fodor's Review:

On the banks of the St. Lucie River and the Intracoastal Waterway in the heart of Sailfish Alley, this cozy enclave is the perfect place to recoup after a day at sea. This midsize resort is relaxing and casual but packed with recreational activities for the day. The tropically furnished rooms are large, with balconies to enjoy the waterfront views. The few suites include microwaves and refrigerators. A continental breakfast is included. Pros: Pretty location, great for fishermen with boats. Cons: The Pirates Loft Lounge gets lively at night, but the restaurant can be rather dull during the day.
