Lost & Found

There are Lost & Found offices in the Magic Kingdom, at Epcot, in Disney-MGM Studios, and at Disney's Animal Kingdom. After one day, all items are sent to the Main Lost & Found office.

Contacts

Animal Kingdom Lost & Found (407/938-2785). Disney-MGM Studios Lost & Found (407/560-3720). Lost & Found (407/560-7500). Magic Kingdom Lost & Found (City Hall. 407/824-4521). Main Lost & Found (Magic Kingdom, Transportation and Ticket Center. 407/824-4245).

Restrooms

Restrooms at the theme parks are widely available, frequently cleaned, and there are usually enough stalls so that you rarely have to wait in line; most, including men's rooms, have baby-changing stations. Some park areas geared to smaller children even feature kid-size potties and sinks. Plus, restrooms at the airport and at many attractions use the automatic infrared flush trigger, so you never have to touch the toilet.

Cameras

Disposable cameras and film, batteries, and memory cards, are widely available in shops throughout the theme parks and hotels. The Camera Center, in the Magic Kingdom Town Square Exposition Hall, is the place to buy photos that Disney photographers take of you and your family posing with characters or saying cheese at various locations around the park. A 5"×7" photo costs $12.95 for the first print and $9.95 for each additional copy. An 8"×10" costs $16.95 and $12.95 for each additional copy. You can buy similar photos at the other Disney park Camera Centers, or you can ask for the Disney PhotoPass so you can view and order the photos online at any time.

Lockers

Lockers are available near all the theme-park entrances ($5; plus $2 deposit). If you're park-hopping, you can use your locker receipt to acquire a locker at the next park you visit for no extra charge.

Package Pickup

Ask the shop clerk to send any large purchase you make to Guest Relations, so you won't have to carry it around all day. Allow three hours for the delivery. The package pickup area is in Town Square next to City Hall.

Pet Care

It's probably best to leave Rover at home, but if you just can't part with your animal, all the major Disney parks, as well as Universal and SeaWorld, have kennel facilities. They provide a cage, water, and sometimes food. Some of the kennels, such as the one at Epcot, offer dog-walking services for an additional fee. On-site Disney resort guests may board their pets for $9 each per night; others pay $11 per night. The Disney day rate is $6 per pet. At SeaWorld, pets can stay for $6 a day; at Universal, the day rate is $10.

The Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel, and the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando (407/503-7625 or 800/232-7827) allow your pet to stay in your room for a $25 cleaning fee, and they even offer pet room service. However, you must provide a pet health certificate that is no more than 10 days old and have a leash or cage.
