Fodor's Review:

Just 5 mi from the airport gates, The Florida Hotel is right between Orlando International and I-Drive. You're in for a treat if you like to shop: the hotel is connected to the upscale Florida Mall, with seven major department stores and 250 specialty shops. The hotel feels upscale, too, with polished marble floors, fountains in the lobby, and a good in-house restaurant, Le Jardin, as well as a Starbucks. Rooms have either two queen beds or a king and a foldout sofa; microwaves and refrigerators are available for a small fee. There's free shuttle service to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. Pros: the mall's shopping and dining opps; in-room spa services; short drive to airport. Cons: neighborhood is less-than scenic; Disney is 18 mi away.
