Like everything in the Disney-created town of Celebration, this 115-room hotel borrows from the best of the 19th and 21st centuries. The lobby resembles those of Victorian grand dames, with hardwood floors and decorative millwork throughout. Rooms may look as if they date from the early 1900s, but each has a 25-inch TV, two phone lines, high-speed Internet access, and a six-channel stereo system. Even though it's less than 1 mi south of the U.S. 192 tourist strip in Kissimmee, the hotel's surroundings are serene. The entire hotel is no-smoking. Pros: a mere block from good restaurants; rental bikes and golf carts make touring a breeze. Cons: need a rental car (or lots of cab money) to get around off site.
