Doctor Doom's Fearfall

Fodor's Review:

Although the 200-foot-tall towers look really, really scary, the ride is really just pretty scary. After being strapped into a chair, a silent countdown begins as you wait nervously. Then in a flash your chair is snapped with great speed to the peak of the tower, held there so you can realize just how high up you really are, and then dropped to earth. The process is then repeated, but just once. The ride is so short that it actually feels sort of anticlimactic. Watching it is scarier than riding it. Check the line and estimate your desire to see a panoramic view of Universal's parks and possibly the Orlando skyline (depending on which side of the ride you're on). Leave loose items in the bins provided; no one else can reach them while you're on your trip.
