Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner & Show

Fodor's Review:

For real old-fashioned family entertainment, Dolly's show can't be beat. The evening begins in a preshow area featuring a singing cowboy who also has the interesting ability to rip, tear, and snap small objects to bits with a lightning-fast bullwhip. Next, in the main arena – an antebellum-style auditorium – you sit on either the North or South side and cheer on your teams as they engage in such competitions as ostrich and pig races. Expect lots of singing, dancing, comedy, and fast-paced acrobatic horsemanship with 32 magnificent horses. A four-course feast and plenty of audience participation make this show stand out above the others. The patriotic grand finale was written by Dolly Parton. Stick around after the show and you can meet the horses and performers.
