Walt Disney World/Orlando Top Reasons to Go

Rides, Rides, Rides!

You love them and your kids love them. Why settle for anything but the very best? The staggering variety of flips, loops, and drops -- not to mention high-tech visuals and effects -- on offer at Walt Disney World and other Orlando-area theme parks are enough to make a person dizzy.

Have Lunch With Mickey

.. and Cinderella, and Barney, and Winney the Pooh, and Mary Poppins.Be it at lunch or even just walking around the parks, your little ones will have many opportunities to interact with their favorite cartoon character live and in person. Go ahead, press that record button. You'll thank yourself later for having it all on tape.

Behind the Scenes

An incredible network of underground tunnels criss-crosses the Magic Kingdom so that, say, Buzz Lightyear doesn't accidentally make a surprise appearance at Cinderella's Cinderellabration. Just leave it to Disney to find a way to capitalize on their behind-the-scenes by bringing you to see these amazing catacombs -- for a small fee of course. Animal Kingdom and SeaWorld have some great backstage animal feeding opportunities as well. No matter where you go, you'll have fun just trying to figure out how they make all this magic happen.

Shopping

From fairy-tale kingdoms to Old West-style trading posts to outlet malls, Walt Disney World and Orlando have a plethora of shopping opportunities that won't leave you disappointed. The colors are bright and energetic, the textures soft and cuddly, and the designs fresh and thoughtful.
