Concourse Steakhouse

$$-$$$, Steak, Magic Kingdom

User Rating: ** 1.8

Fodor's Review:

If you've always liked that trademark monorail that runs from the Magic Kingdom into the Contemporary Resort, you might want to have a meal here. You can watch the monorail breeze by overhead as you dine. And don't worry, the place isn't as noisy as you might imagine. Selections for meat-eaters include a nicely prepared chipotle-glazed rib-eye steak and tasty pork spareribs. Among the other entrées are herb-crusted salmon and penne with pesto, a vegetarian option to which you can add shrimp, chicken, or sirloin steak, if you like. For dessert, try the vanilla-bean crème brûlée -- a relative bargain at $6.

Naturally over-priced...it's Disney. Our steaks were under-cooked, and that was even after our waitress sent them back the 1st time all on her own (good for her, she knew)! Our baked potatoes would have probably been good if they had been cooked an additional 10-15 minutes (I'm not kidding, their unchilled butter substitute would not even melt in the potato). If you're going to be charged these kind of prices your should expect and RECEIVE better than this.
