$$$-$$$$, Creole, Universal Orlando
Fodor's Review:
The popular eatery is a culinary shrine to Emeril Lagasse, the famous Food Network chef who occasionally appears here. The menu changes frequently, but you can always count on New Orleans treats like andouille sausage, shrimp, and red beans appearing in some form or fashion. Entrées may include andouille-crusted redfish with crispy shoestring potatoes; milk-fed veal with shrimp, artichoke hearts, and a mustard hollandaise sauce; and grilled beef fillet with bacon mashed potatoes and buttermilk-breaded onion rings. The wood-baked pizza, topped with exotic mushrooms, is stellar. Save room for Emeril's ice-cream parfait -- banana-daiquiri ice cream topped with hot fudge, caramel sauce, walnuts, and a double-chocolate-fudge cookie.
