$$-$$$$, Japanese, International Drive Area
Fodor's Review:
The surroundings are a Disney-style version of Asia, but the food is fresh and carefully prepared, much of it table-side. Unless you're alone, you can have your meal Japanese-style at the low tables overlooking a carp-filled pond and decorative gardens. You might start with creamy, spicy shrimp and scallops served gratin style, and continue with the shabu-shabu (thinly sliced beef and vegetables cooked table-side in a simmering broth), or the kushiyaki (grilled skewers of shrimp, beef, chicken, and scallops). Sukiyaki (sizzling sliced sirloin of beef with mixed Chinese vegetables) is the signature dish here. If you feel adventurous, try the deep-fried alligator tail glazed in a ginger-soy sauce.
