$$-$$$$, Chinese, International Drive Area
Fodor's Review:
A walled courtyard and serene pond make you forget you're on International Drive. The extensive menu includes simple chicken Szechuan, jumbo shrimp with honey-glaze walnuts, and aged filet mignon grilled in a spicy sauce. Ming Court features an extensive selection of dim sum, including samples of shrimp ravioli, duck lettuce cup (spicy duck in a cup made from lettuce leaves), and grilled chicken yakitori (with sake and ginger). There's also an extensive array of dishes from the wok, including a house specialty called Eight Treasure Duck: roasted duck topped with scallops, carrots, cabbage, and mushrooms in a tangy brown sauce. The flourless chocolate cake, certainly not Asian, has been a popular standard for years. Ming Court is within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center and can be quite busy at lunchtime.
