$-$$, Mexican, Lake Buena Vista
Fodor's Review:
True, the ersatz cantina motif here looks like that of every other Mexican place in every suburb you've ever seen. But the food is a shocker: it's quite good. Try the hot tamales, or the shrimp-and-crab enchiladas topped with pesto-cream sauce. The menu, making use of some gringo creativity, includes chicken with Dijon mustard wrapped in a tortilla, and a huge burrito made with pork and beef barbecue. A specialty here is the selection of quesadillas -- a traditional dish with melted cheese between two tortillas -- but in this case the stuffing is pretty nontraditional, including chicken in barbecue sauce. For dessert, look for the good flan and cream pies.
