¢-$, American, Central Orlando
Fodor's Review:
In a building that once housed a gas station, this burger joint and sports bar is a monument to the fact that good eating can sometimes be had in extremely humble surroundings. Orlando residents rave about the burgers, which are straightforward half-pounders infused with what the management calls a "family recipe." Generous portions of onions, tomatoes, and other less common ingredients -- like grilled mushrooms and peppers -- make these burgers wonderfully sloppy. Make sure to grab extra napkins. The bacon-and-blue cheeseburger is the most popular item on the menu, and a bargain at $7. Other options include chicken wings, cheesesteak sandwiches, and fish-and-chips. This place is also a sports bar and can get pretty loud and crowded.
