$$-$$$, Latin American, Sand Lake Road
Fodor's Review:
Although owned by the same company that operates the TGI Friday's chain, this big, vibrant restaurant is a good version of an "authentic" Latin experience. You may agree once you've heard the bongos and tasted the barbacoa. To sample the extensive menu, go for the bocaditas (small plates) offerings, which include mango barbecued ribs with plantain fries and grilled mussels with a coconut sour-orange sauce. A standout on the main course menu is the Chilean sea bass enchilada served with shrimp orzo. For dessert, try the banana crème brûlée and the green-apple-and-banana cobbler.
