Museums / Galleries, Winter Park
Fodor's Review:
The world's most comprehensive collection of the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany, including immense stained-glass windows, lamps, watercolors, and desk sets, is at the. The museum's constant draws include exhibits on the Tiffany Long Island mansion, Laurelton Hall, and the 1,082-square-foot Tiffany Chapel, originally built for the 1893 world's fair in Chicago. It took craftsmen 2 1/2 years to painstakingly reassemble the chapel here. Also displayed at the museum are collections of paintings by 19th- and 20th-century American artists, and jewelry and pottery, including a fine display of Rookwood vases.
