Sammy Duvall's Water Sports Centre (Disney's Contemporary Resort. 407/939-0754) offers parasailing on Bay Lake in addition to water sports. Flights, $90 per outing, reach a height of 450 feet and last 7 to 10 minutes. Individual participants must weigh at least 100 pounds, but youngsters may go aloft accompanied by an adult. Tandem flights are $165.

Sky Venture, a 120-mph vertical-lift wind tunnel, allows you to experience everything skydivers enjoy, all within an air blast that reaches only 12 feet. The experience starts with skydiving instruction, after which you suit up and hit the wind tunnel, where you soar like a bird under the watchful eye of your instructor. While you are "falling" on the wind stream, you even experience what divers called "ground rush," because you're surrounded by a video depiction of a real skydive. The experience is so realistic that skydiving clubs come to Sky Venture to hone their skills. Famous people who have tried this include George Bush Sr. You must be less than 250 pounds and at least 4 feet tall to participate.
