Fodor's Review:
Billed as Miami's only B&B, this inn dispenses the attentive, personalized hospitality often lost in Miami Beach's gleaming deco towers. The inn's five restored 1904 clapboard buildings are the only group of Miami houses left from that period. A glass of wine at check-in sets the tone. Rooms (some with tub but no shower) are filled with antiques, and many have hardwood floors. All have TVs and phones. The most popular rooms overlook the river from the 2nd and 3rd floors. The heart of the city is a 10-minute stroll across the 1st Street Bridge. The inn is ecofriendly and sponsors a community garden down the street. Pros: Free Continental breakfast, unusual but central location, quaint, and inexpensive. Con: No pool.
