Fodor's Review:
This modest family restaurant, in the same popular minimall as Tropical Chinese, doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is. The friendly and efficient staff will describe unfamiliar dishes to help you choose among the Peruvian specialties, which come in portions large enough to share. To sample the cuisine, order the piquéo Peruano, comprising small portions of several dishes. But don't miss the jaléa mixta, a big mounded dish of breaded and deep-fried octopus, squid, fish, and shrimp, accompanied by fried yucca, red pickled onions, tartar sauce, and slices of lime.
