Two Chefs

$$-$$$, Continental, South Miami

User Rating: ***** 4.8

Fodor's Review:

Of the two Danish chefs -- Jan Jorgensen and Soren Bredahl -- who had cooked together for decades, Bredahl has gone back to Denmark. Their restaurant, decorated like a Williams-Sonoma catalog, still has an ever-changing menu, however. Scan for seared foie gras with gnocchi, an unusually textured combination that features reduced boysenberries. Unexpected concoctions are another untraditional tradition at Two Chefs -- perhaps goat meat paired with lobster or an escargot potpie.

One of Miami's best

Posted by Judgeled1 from Miami on 1/20/07

I have dined in Two Chefs many times over the years. Their food and service has always been excellent. We most recently had dinner there two weeks ago. I had the coq au vin, which sets a new standard for this dish. My wife had the duck rissoto, which she let me taste. It, too was superb. We did not get any dessert, but there souffles are to die for. They also have a limited special menu, from which you can select an appetizer, main dish, and souffle, for $29.95. This has to be one of the best values in fine dining in Miami. HIGHLY recommended.
