Caffè Abbracci

$$-$$$, Italian, Coral Gables

User Rating: ***** 5.0

Fodor's Review:

Long-running and much beloved, this Italian restaurant is more like a club than an eatery. Patrons tend to fare better when they're recognized, so go with a local or pretend you've been there before. Confidently order some cold and hot antipasti -- including various carpaccios, porcini mushrooms, calamari, grilled goat cheese, shrimps, mussels -- and a few festive entrées. Most pasta is made fresh, so consider sampling two or three, maybe with pesto sauce, Gorgonzola, and fresh tomatoes.

Wonderful evening

Posted by Mike from North Carolina on 1/18/06

My wife and I stayed a couple of days in Miami on our way to Key West. Our hotel, the Omni Colonnade, recommended Cafe' Abbracci. The meal, service, and ambiance could not have been better. That evening was one of the highlights of our stay in Miami. Definitely recommend for anyone who like to make dinner an evening out.
