Ortanique on the Mile

Fodor's Review:
First, the place is gorgeous. Soft ochre walls and columns are hand painted with cascading ortaniques, a Jamaican hybrid orange, creating a warm, welcoming, and soothing atmosphere. Next, the food is vibrant in taste and color, as delicious as it is beautiful. Though there is no denying that the strong, full flavors are imbued with island breezes, chef/partner Cindy Hutson's personal cuisine goes beyond Caribbean refinements. The menu centers on fish, since Hutson has a special way with it, and the Caribbean bouillabaisse is not to be missed.
