Fodor's Review:
The county's first visual-arts museum has a permanent collection that includes art from the European Renaissance and baroque periods; pre-Columbian pieces; Asian, African, and Native American art; and works by 20th-century Latin American and American artists, including Cundo Bermúdez, Roy Lichtenstein, Deborah Butterfield, and Claes Oldenburg. Each January the Lowe sponsors the Beaux-Arts Festival in Coral Gables, one of the area's largest outdoor art markets.
