Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)

Art Galleries, North Miami-Dade

Fodor's Review:

Its 1996 building and grounds designed by Charles Gwathmey, MOCA is known for provocative exhibitions (8 to 10 shows each year). Its collection of 20th-century American and European works reaches for the cutting edge. Permanent pieces include works from such artists as Louise Nevelson, Julian Schnabel, Dennis Oppenheim, and Anna Gaskell. Programs range from film and video to live jazz and lectures by contemporary artists.
