Romantics read on: Italian restaurant La Palma is perhaps Miami's most love-inducing atmosphere. We're talking garden courtyards, white linens, candles, piano bar, impressionist art, even lounge singers -- the sentimental works. Fortunately the food doesn't inspire weeping but rather laughing with joy, especially the osso buco and lobster risotto. While there's not much on the menu in the way of innovation, the warm, formal service and inviting decor make this a noteworthy recluse à deux.
