The main airport for the region is Jacksonville International (JAX). It's served by AirTran, American, Comair, Continental and Continental Connection/Express, Delta, Executive, jetBlue, Midway, Northwest, Southwest, United Express, US Airways, and US Airways Express. Continental, Delta, and Vintage Props & Jets serve Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB). Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) is served by Delta Connection and US Airways Express. Although Orlando isn't part of the area, visitors to northeastern Florida often choose to arrive at Orlando International Airport (MCO) because of the huge number of convenient flights. Driving east from Orlando on the Beeline Expressway brings you to Cocoa Beach in about an hour. Reach Daytona, about a two-hour drive, by taking the Beeline Expressway to Interstate 95 and driving north.
