$$$-$$$$, Useppa Island
Fodor's Review:
Should you decide to spend some time away from civilization, you can lodge at the inn here, built in 1908 as the Izaak Walton Club, a fishing getaway for the rich and tarpon-seeking. Rooms and suites in the inn and a couple of other historic buildings reflect the island's sporting past, but in the finest taste. The Useppa Island Club also has some two-bedroom cottages on a rental program. The club can make transportation arrangements from Pine Island or Boca Grande. Continental breakfast is complimentary for guests without kitchens.
