Greyhound Lines buses stop in Fort Lauderdale. Broward County Mass Transit bus service covers the county on 275 fixed routes and ventures into Dade and Palm Beach counties. The fare is $1, and BUZ pass options include unlimited daily ($2.50), weekly ($9), monthly ($32), and 10 rides for $8 any day, any time, sold at bus stations, libraries, and elsewhere. Route service starts at 5 AM and continues to 11:30 PM, except on Sunday. Call for route information. Fort Lauderdale's Sun Trolley is free on some routes or costs 25 to 50 per ride, depending on the route (flow of federal grant money, and whims of local transporation czars), and covers both the downtown loop and the beach area. The Courthouse Route generally runs every 10 minutes weekdays from 7:30 until 6. The Las Olas & Beach Route runs on the half hour 5:45 PM-1:45 AM.
