If only for a stroll and some window-shopping, don't miss Las Olas Boulevard. The city's best boutiques plus top restaurants and art galleries line a beautifully landscaped street. American Soul (810 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954/462-4224) carries menswear from suits to socks, along with leather goods and gifts. Casa Chameleon (619 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954/763-2543) has antiques, linens, and beautiful things to top your table. The sweet smell of waffle cones lures pedestrians to Kilwin's of Las Olas (809 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954/523-8338), an old-fashioned confectionery that also sells hand-paddled fudge and scoops of homemade ice cream. Lauderdale Lifestyle-A Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store (819 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954/524-5459) specializes in the South Florida dress requisite -- clothing and accessories in Lilly Pulitzer's signature tropical colors and prints. Seldom Seen (817 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954/764-5590) is a gallery of contemporary and folk art, including furniture, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, and blown glass. Zola Keller (818 E. Las Olas Blvd. 954/462-3222) sells special-occasion dresses -- cocktail dresses, evening gowns, vow-renewal apparel, and, yes, Miss Florida and Mrs. America pageant dresses.
