Come one, come all, come hungry, and come at 11 AM to witness the calm before the lunch storm. By noon, the Fish House is packed with Pensacola's professionals, power players, and poseurs, all waiting for tables and the fresh fish brought in on the docks steps away. The wide-ranging menu of fish dishes served broiled, blackened, or fried is the bait. The attentive service, bayfront setting, and signature "Grits a Ya-Ya" dish (fresh gulf shrimp on a bed of smoked Gouda-cheese grits smothered with a portobello-mushroom sauce) keeps diners in the net. Steaks, delicious homemade desserts, a sushi bar, and a full-service bar don't hurt the extraordinary popularity of this restaurant either. The hot-ticket table is one out on the deck at sunset.
