This site of a Civil War-era whiskey distillery and, later, an exotic plant nursery -- some imported species still thrive in the wild -- is best known for also being the site of one of Florida's most notable geological features -- the Falling Waters Sink. The 100-foot-deep cylindrical pit provides the background for a waterfall, and there's an observation deck for viewing this natural phenomenon. The water free-falls 67 feet to the bottom of the sink, but where it goes after that is a mystery.
