Boyhood Home of Robert E. Lee

  • Address: 607 Oronoco St., Old Town, Alexandria, VA | Map It

Fodor's Review:

The childhood home in Alexandria of the Commander in Chief of the Confederate forces of Virginia, Robert E. Lee, is a fine example of a 19th-century town house with Federal architecture. It's now a private home and is not open to visitors. Some of the furnishings, however, are displayed at the Lyceum.
